Inaugural Annual ACT Alcohol and Other Drug Awards, December 2009: Outstanding Contributions Award
On 12 Dec 2009 David was the recipient of the Outstanding Contributions Award at the Inaugural Annual ACT Alcohol and Other Drug Award ceremony at the Legislative Assembly for the ACT. The award was presented by Ms Mary Porter MLA.

Syringe Vending Machines Trial Evaluation
My interests in corrections health have lead me to advocate for a trial of a needle syringe program (NSP) at Canberra’s new prison, the Alexander Maconochie Centre. This reflects the strong body of evidence as to the effectiveness of such services, and the human rights imperatives that drive them.
